There are many issues within our Community that your residents association is aware of and is currently either actively engaged on or monitoring. But we have limited resources in terms of number of active Board members and available time to do all that we would like to do and are again requesting some additional help so that we can better serve you, “our community”.
We are a small volunteer organization as I am sure you know but the number of important issues affecting our Community is growing and to be frank it is becoming difficult for your Board to address all of them effectively on your behalf. For that reason we would very much like to hear from anyone who might be able to offer CMGRA additional support either as a part time volunteer or as a Board member, particularly if you have skills or abilities in routine website maintenance or writing newsletters and regular communications pieces.
Your Board is actively engaged with We Love Oakville in opposing the current Provincial plans for Midtown and is being active to bring more effective attention to the growing concerns with safety and security of our homes, among others issues like the proposed investment to redevelop Town Square.
But these activities can easily devour much more effort than we can currently muster so more help is needed. So if you have some available time, have any skills that you think would be useful and are interested in participating in events which are important to our neighbourhood – which means your friends and neighbours- please get in touch with us (see email addresses below where we can be reached). Be assured that working as part of CMGRA is extremely interesting and an important contribution to your community.
