About
Who We Are
The Chartwell-Maple Grove Residents Association (CMGRA) is a local non-profit and non-partisan volunteer residents’ organization that was established in April 2009. We represent residents within the boundaries of the Queen Elizabeth Way to the north, Lake Ontario to the south, Chartwell Road to the west, and Maple Grove Drive to the east. We are bordered by our neighbours to the east by the Joshua Creek Residents’ Association, the west by the Trafalgar-Chartwell Residents’ Association, and the southwest by the Oakville Lakeside Residents’ Association. CMGRA is located in one of Oakville’s original communities, characterized by its unique blend of old and new homes located in a treasured urban forest.
Vison and Mission
Our vision is a unique and sustainable community with a multi-fold mission:
- To advocate on behalf of the residents of our community
- To communicate relevant issues to our membership
- To preserve, protect, and enhance our natural environment, the health and well-being of our residents, and the integrity of our town now and for future generations
