Dear Neighbours,
We want to start off by apologizing for our lack of communication over the last while. But we are pleased to be able to report that all the issues that came from updating our website and changing our mail system are now under control with help from new Board members, and our website is now up and running.
After a difficult year we have had several new members join our Board and now have a strong Board of Directors to deal with the many issues facing our neighbourhood. We are committed to keeping you informed about what’s going on, not only in our neighbourhood but in the town of Oakville, the place that we are all pleased to call home.
Over the past year there have been many concerns about safety, auto theft and the Midtown development project around Oakville Go Train station. These issues and particularly the Midtown proposed development have kept us very busy working with our neighbouring Residents associations to make this new part of Oakville the best it can be
From now on we will post links of interest on Midtown and other issues on a regular basis. Your feedback and options on these issues is welcomed and we look forward to seeing you at our AGM on Sept 11th.
There is a lot to do to keep up with events and issues in our neighbourhood and we are always looking for new members and volunteers to help!
